In-between

“In-between” is a series of portraits depicting a person in several stages of a given situation or task. Each portrait of a single person is composed by several photographs shown side-by-side in chronological order. However the images are static and do not capture motion as in the case of Eadweard Muybridge’s photographs. The transition between each image or frame is only implicitly understood. By using this construction, the portraits represent a person in several stages of an untold activity.
