www_hack 2.0 is a creative installation consisting of several computers in a single room, working independently. It is based on the fact that in computer user interfaces, the mouse cursor or pointer is the digital representation of the user. Taking that in consideration the movement of each person in a room is translated into a moving cursor displayed by the nearest computer.

www_hack 2.0 makes an allusion to the so called social web or web 2.0, where the interaction between humans is mediated by computers. In the model of the social web, different users meet in a virtual space in order to interact or socialize while using different computers. In the case of www_hack 2.0 that model is inverted. Users move in a common physical space, while their digital representation is shown in different screens. When two persons are literally close, two cursors might appear in a single screen. Such phenomena are rarely observed on digital systems.
